At conference this year we delved into the heart of OD by putting a spotlight on the ever evolving topic of team dynamics.

Teams are currently being asked to do more than ever, and they are experiencing challenges within their relationships, identity and purpose. This year, we focused on the potential of the team, and how that can be harnessed to achieve organisational goals and foster a positive workplace culture. With our speakers and session leads we delved into the dynamics of teams within systems and beyond, looking at how they function as essential components within the larger system frameworks.

The event brought our OD community together with industry leaders and like-minded professionals to explore the latest trends, share valuable insights, inspire collaboration, and foster meaningful connections.

During the day delegates:

  • networked with colleagues from across the country

  • attended main stage events and breakout sessions hearing from a range of amazing speakers

  • celebrated successes and shared challenges.

Speaker presentations and other content from the day will be published on our Do OD web pages soon.

Agenda

Morning sessions

  • Join Steven Weeks, policy manager for NHS Employers to explore what the NHS Staff Survey tells us about the effectiveness of team working in the NHS.

This session will explore the data available from the NHS staff survey questions on team working. It will explore the strengths and limitations of the staff survey dataset and how to use the data for benchmarking, trend analysis and developing OD interventions.
